Korth Custom Holster Review
I have a very unusual gun, a Korth NXS with nonstandard attachments. I tried for a LONG time to find a holster shop to make me a way to carry it, but continually struck out.
After I had been rejected by so many leather and kydex shops that I had given up and cobbled together my own serviceable but horrifically ugly holster, I discovered Squidwerx, who agreed to make both overt and concealment holsters for my very unique firearm.
This review is about the overt holster: It is kydex, wrapped in leather for durability, cold weather resistance, and of course, stunning good looks! Since it is enormous, a removable leg strap is included. To make it even more flexible, and in keeping with the ethos of a modern fighting revolver, a QLS fork was used as the mounting interface. The final product retains excellently, but does not impede a swift draw.
I am absolutely floored by the function, aesthetics, and attention to detail. I fully expect this holster to get a lot of heavy use and be passed on to my children. -

Winkler Push Dagger Custom Sheath
Leather wrapped kydex sheath for the excellent Winkler “Monkey Edge” dagger.
“The push dagger sheath I received is top notch! Huge upgrade over the kydex sheath it came with. I can get a proper purchase of the grip as it rides at a better height above my belt. The retention is very high when new and took a bit to get worn in, but that is much preferred than being loose. It definitely looks great and has a cool factor to it. It’ll get even better with age. “ - KH

9mm Moonclip Carrier
“When I picked up a Smith & Wesson 986 Performance Center, a 2.5” version, I realized I failed to consider the gun’s reliance on moonclips for function. I was ready to relegate the handsome little snub to a range toy, when SquidSix stepped in and secured its EDC fate. Offering a phenomenally well designed OWB moonclip holder, I’ve been able to carry and conceal the 986 and a spare 7rds under a t-shirt. His craftsmanship is incredible, and the design of this pouch holds the moonclip securely, and safely, just above the belt line where it can tuck in against the body for concealment. Deployment, despite the phenomenal retention, is easy and rapid with a quick brush of your index finger along the snap while you lift the clip with thumb and middle finger. Above it all, SquidSix is the best kind of people, and a pleasure to deal with. Can’t recommend him, or his work, highly enough and hope to work together again soon.”
